At GLOBE Charter School, field trips play an integral part in the educational experience. Our students traditionally enjoy more off campus activities than other schools are able to provide. All grades travel to a wide variety of interesting and educational sites to learn more about the world they share in a hands-on way. We have had students canoe down the Missouri along the trail of Lewis and Clark, hike over the mountains and discovered the Great Sand Dunes like Zebulon Pike did. They have gone on trips to Estes Park, Divide, South Dakota and four corners area. Our middle school students have even traveled as far as Utah!. In addition, our students learn how to personally effect change in the world though service oriented projects conducted both in the classroom and in the community. In this way, we empower our students to take an active role in shaping their future and the future of their world.
