The Board of Directors believes that effective student discipline is a prerequisite for sound educational practice and academic achievement. The Board is committed to the creation of an atmosphere at GLOBE Charter School, which is safe, conductive to the learning process, and free from unnecessary disruption.
Within the context and limits established in law, GLOBE’s policies and regulations concerning discipline are intended to be responsive to the level of discipline infraction and to foster cooperation and collaboration among students, parents, teachers, and other staff members, local law enforcement agencies and the community at large in order to meet these goals.
Therefore, all GLOBE staff members will follow the Behavior Principles and Policies created for GLOBE as stated in the D-11 "Green Book". GLOBE encourages parents to carefully read through the Green Book with their child, and keep one on hand should a concern arise. Green Books are provided at registration.
